Pushing Away the Lord
1 Samuel 5-6
I. Many foolishly think that they can stand up to God in themselves. (5:1-4) Pr 14:34, Ps 79:6, Phillipians 2:10
II. Often when individuals are convicted, they try to ignore God or push away any connection with God. (5:5-6:12) Ps 107:17
III. As believers we can only fellowship with God based on His terms, otherwise we to will be pushing Him away. (6:13-21)
