"Poor man, Rich man"

2. The rich man is not to glory in what he posses materially because it will quickly pass away, but instead he too, must humble his heart and glory only in Jesus. Luke 10:20, Matt 6:8, Phil 4:19, Heb 13:5, John 14:1, Ps 62:9, Jer 9:23, Luke 12:20, Ps 102:11, 1 Tim 6:17

"Obtaining Godly Wisdom"

Jame 1:5-8

1. We must first realize that we need Godly Wisdom. Proverbs 2:1, 3:17, 8:10-11, 18:2, 26:12, 3:7, 12:15, 14:16, 28:26

2. We must recognize that God wants to give us wisdom. Romans 2:11

3. We then only need to ask God, in faith, for wisdom. James 1:6, 1 Kings 3:10, Luke 18:1

Reasons to Rejoice in Trials

James 1:1-4

1. Count it all joy, not if, but when you fall into various trials.

2. What do I need to know to be able to count it all joy?
a. A trial shows that God is at work in your life
b. A trial reveals where you are in your walk with Jesus
c. Trials are meant to produce mature Christians
